The increase in pressure forces oxygen contained in the ambient air to penetrate all body fluids (blood plasma, lymph, cerebrospinal fluid) and all tissues, organs and cells. This oxygen feeds the mitochondria (the energy-producing powerhouse of every cell), activates metabolism and promotes regeneration throughout the body.

Hyperbarics are based on a PHYSICAL LAW: HENRY'S LAW

The quantity of dissolved gas is proportional to the pressure exerted by the gas on the liquid.

So, as the pressure of a gas increases, more of it will be able to dissolve in any solution with which it comes into contact.

Oxygen is transported at 98% by red blood cells. Under pressure, oxygen is dissolved in plasma. Oxygen can dissolve over a distance of less than 50 microns. Capillaries (small veins) filled with red blood cells average 8 microns. This is why oxygen diffuses very well through plasma, spinal cord and cerebrospinal fluid. For this reason, white matter is often inaccessible to hyperbaric treatment.

Physically speaking, thanks to this principle, it is possible to observe

  • improved cranial metabolism (increased chemical and neurological activity)
  • oxygen supply in places where it would otherwise be impossible
  • improved microcirculation
  • reduction of cerebral edema and inflammation through vasoconstriction
  • Preserves partially damaged tissue and prevents the progression of side effects

Hyperbarics act directly on the intestinal system. It has been endoscopically proven to heal ulcers and promote healing in patients. Better transit.

Neurologically speaking:

There are as many neurons as glial cells. Glial cells nourish and act as mechanics for neurons. Neurons decay and die without glial cells. Treating glial cells directly affects neurons.
