FASTING FOR ATHLETES

I set up this course because a lot of people were asking me how fasting works when you want to train or do sport? I don't want to lose muscle mass and everyone says that fasting will make me lose muscle because your body will feed on your proteins...

And my undeniable answer every time? Losing muscle, yes... and no!

Because the truth is that if you fast and do physical activity without knowing the mechanics behind it, YES you're going to damage your muscles and it can even get really unpleasant!!!

In reality, it depends on what type of sports or physical activity, at what frequency, what type of fasting as well? Doing a 3-day fast and pushing out cast-iron, really not the idea of the century!

Jogging during a 24-hour fast? Why not, but it depends on a number of factors.
